During qEEG recording, the current "brain state", the currently produced brain waves, are measured. The client wears the EEG cap, which is connected to the computer, and the brain waves are recorded for approx. 15 minutes with the eyes open and approx. 15 minutes with the eyes closed. On the day of the qEEG, the client should not have consumed any caffeine (coffee, tea, cola, iced tea) or alcohol.
The qEEG data is compared with the qEEG data from the healthy reference population. Based on this, she makes a detailed finding of where the respective brain shows deviations from the normal population.
Based on these comparisons and the individual symptoms of each patient, a personalised therapy plan can then be developed.
